What Do Your Donations Do?

Did you know that YSOP’s fees only cover about 50% of our costs; we fundraise to cover the other 50%, because we do our best to keep our fees as low as possible, to encourage as much participation as possible.

Your donation now can make it possible for more young people to experience YSOP in the coming year. Your generosity will mean a lot to our volunteers and the thousands of people in need they serve.

Here’s how your gift helps:

  • $5 –can provide breakfast and lunch for one participant

  • $10 – can provide a YSOP t-shirt for one participant

  • $25 – can cover the cost of cupcakes and ice cream for one YSOP meal program

  • $50 – can provide a week’s worth of public transportation for one participant in DC

  • $100 – can provide a week’s worth of lunch supplies for one program group

  • $250 – can provide food for one YSOP community meal program where participants prepare and share a meal with people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity

  • $500 - can cover a week’s worth of public transportation for one group in DC

  •  $1,000 – can provide food for March spring break dinner programs
